SEISMIC BRACING
FOR THE WEST COAST
AJ Engineering can help when it comes to seismic bracing for suspended piping, duct work, and electrical systems, anywhere on the West Coast. Our expert engineers have helped generate designs for buildings in California, Oregon, Washington, and beyond. In partnership with Mason West, Inc., our engineers were able to aid in the development and eventual approval of a document detailing seismic bracing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) distribution systems for California hospital projects. We worked directly with the Office of Statewide Health and Development (OSHPD) to generate the OPM-0043-13 document, the first of its kind. For a copy of this document, please go to www.oshpd.ca.gov/fdd/Pre-Approval/OPM-0043-13.zip.
AJ Engineering has more than 30 years of experience within the industry and 20 dedicated engineers available to generate seismic bracing designs for your next project. As leaders in the seismic brace design area, we have extensive experience, knowledge, and capabilities for bracing MEPF systems in all types of facilities. Plus, as our work with OSHPD demonstrates, we are able to perform copious and strict testing protocols to ensure our designs will work in any situation.

HOW OUR SEISMIC ENGINEERING COMPANY CAN HELP YOU
AJ Engineering is a seismic engineering company that believes in the work that we do. Whether you simply need your plan annotated for the layout of braces or would like assistance with 3D CAD model design with BIM coordination, our engineers can help. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) distribution systems can be huge risks in areas with seismic activity due to their cost and essentialness to building operations. That’s why when you allow AJ Engineering to craft a seismic bracing design for your commercial building, you’ll know that both your building and its occupants will be safe through any seismic occurrence.
